John Inglis arrived in October on trial from Dalmuir Thistle and featured at outside-left for three consecutive games against Notts County, Ardwick and Small Heath.
When he joined he came with a splendid reputation, but during his debut his companions did not play sufficiently well to give him much opportunity to demonstrate his abilities.
However he showed some smart doings and in the following match he centred grandly for Crate to score against Ardwick.
He did not impress sufficiently and was not retained.
